Vacation Plan

The Plumbers Local 68 Vacation Fund was formed under the agreement between Plumbers Local 68 and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Houston. Signatory Employers contribute to the Fund according to the rate provided in the current CBA. The Fund acts as the Collection agent with Employee Contributions received from the Signatory Contractors being deposited into Individual Accounts with the Union Fidelity Credit Union.

Apprenticeship Training

The Board of Trustees is pleased to provide this Website to help you access information related to The Houston Area Plumbing Joint Apprenticeship Fund. Participants and others interested should refer to the contact information available below.

The Fund was formed under an agreement between the Mechanical Contractors Association of Houston, Inc. and the UA Plumbers’ Local Union No. 68. The Fund receives contributions for all Members of the Union employed under the terms of the Collective bargaining Agreement with signatory Employers.

The Fund was established for the purpose of funding the activities of the Houston Area Plumbing Joint Apprenticeship Committee which operates the apprenticeship training and educational programs. In accordance with the Collective bargaining Agreement (CBA), signatory Employers contribute $0.60 for each hour worked by Employees under the CBA.
